Shipping & Delivery
How fulfillment works on MyBiznest: shipping, delivery, pickup, and on-site services, and who is responsible for what.
1. Fulfillment is provided by the business
MyBiznest does not ship, deliver, store, or handle any goods. Each business sets and performs its own fulfillment, and is responsible for getting the order to you as described.
The fulfillment options a business offers, together with any fee, preparation time, and estimated timeframe, are shown on the listing and again at checkout before you confirm.
2. Fulfillment options
- Shipping: the business sends the item by post or courier to the address you provide.
- Local delivery: the business delivers within its stated area, often with its own fee and time window.
- Pickup: you collect from the address or pickup point the business specifies, within the window offered.
- On-site service: the business travels to your address to perform the service.
- In-store or at-business service: you attend the business's premises at the booked time.
3. Addresses and access
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery or service address and for being reachable. Costs caused by an incorrect address, a failed delivery, or a missed access appointment may be charged by the business under its own policy.
For on-site services, you must provide safe and lawful access to the location at the agreed time.
4. Timeframes and tracking
Preparation times, delivery windows, and estimated arrival dates are estimates given by the business, not guarantees by MyBiznest. Carrier delays, weather, customs, and stock issues can affect them.
Where a business adds a tracking number it appears on the order. Updates about dispatch and delivery are sent through MyBiznest notifications.
5. Costs, taxes, and international orders
Any shipping or delivery fee is set by the business and shown as a separate line before payment.
For international orders, the recipient is normally responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs charges. MyBiznest does not collect or control these.
6. Damaged, late, lost, or missing items
Report a problem to the business promptly through MyBiznest messaging, with photos where relevant. The business is responsible for resolving it under its own policy and applicable consumer law.
If the resolution involves money back, the Returns & Refunds policy applies: only payments processed through MyBiznest using Stripe can be refunded through MyBiznest. Direct or off-platform payments must be refunded by the business directly.
7. Risk and changes
Unless the law provides otherwise, risk in goods passes to you on delivery, or on collection for pickup orders.
