Business / Seller Agreement

The commitments a business makes when listing services or products and taking bookings or orders on MyBiznest.

1. Who this covers

This agreement applies to every business account on MyBiznest and to any staff member acting on that account. It sits alongside the Terms of Service, the Payments & Platform Fees policy, the Returns & Refunds policy, and, for paid plans, the Subscription Terms.

You confirm you are authorised to act for the business, that the business is lawfully able to sell what it lists, and that you hold any licences, registrations, insurance, and permissions your jurisdiction requires.

2. You are an independent business

You sell in your own name and on your own account. MyBiznest is a listing, booking, messaging, and payment facilitation platform, not your employer, partner, agent, or reseller.

You are solely responsible for the services and products you provide, your pricing, your staff, your tax obligations, and your compliance with consumer law in every place you operate.

3. Listings and accuracy

  • Describe services and products truthfully, including price, duration, inclusions, materials, condition, and any limitations.
  • Keep availability, opening hours, staff, and fulfillment options current so customers do not book slots you cannot honour.
  • Only upload images and video you own or have permission to use, showing your actual work, products, or premises.
  • Do not list anything covered by the Prohibited Products & Services policy.
  • Publish a clear cancellation, return, and refund policy. It is shown to customers before they confirm and is stored with each completed transaction.

4. Fulfilling bookings and orders

Respond to booking requests, orders, and messages promptly, and honour confirmed bookings and orders at the price and time agreed.

If you must cancel or reschedule, tell the customer as early as possible through the platform and settle any amount owed in line with your own policy and applicable law.

Shipping, pickup, delivery, and on-site service commitments you display are your obligations, as set out in the Shipping & Delivery policy.

5. Payments and payouts

You choose which payment methods you accept. If you enable online payment, card payments are processed by Stripe through a connected account in your name, subject to Stripe's terms, and paid out to your bank account on Stripe's schedule.

MyBiznest platform fees, the customer-facing service fee, and Stripe processing costs are described in the Payments & Platform Fees policy. Fee amounts are shown to you and to the customer before payment.

You must not add surcharges to online payments, misrepresent totals, or pressure a customer to pay outside MyBiznest for a transaction you listed as payable online.

6. Refunds: platform payments vs. direct payments

Only payments successfully processed through MyBiznest using Stripe are eligible for refund processing through MyBiznest. You can issue full or partial refunds for those payments from your dashboard, and the platform fee is reversed in the same proportion.

Payments made directly to your business or otherwise outside MyBiznest — including cash, external payment apps, bank transfers, or card payments you process independently — are not processed, verified, monitored, or tracked by MyBiznest and are not eligible for refunds through MyBiznest.

Any refund involving an off-platform payment must be handled directly between you and the customer. You remain fully responsible for honouring your own refund and cancellation obligations for those payments, and MyBiznest cannot verify, mediate, or execute them.

Being eligible for a refund does not guarantee a refund. Refunds through MyBiznest and Stripe remain subject to your published refund and cancellation policy, the MyBiznest terms, Stripe and card-network requirements, and applicable law.

MyBiznest never records a direct or off-platform payment as paid through MyBiznest. Such transactions are labelled as processed outside MyBiznest wherever they appear.

7. Customer data and staff

Customer and guest details you receive may only be used to fulfil the booking or order, provide support, and meet your legal obligations. They may not be sold, added to unrelated marketing lists without consent, or shared with third parties who are not helping you fulfil the transaction.

You control which staff you invite and what permissions you grant. You are responsible for their conduct on the platform and for removing access when they leave.

8. Reviews and conduct

You may reply publicly to reviews and report reviews that breach the Community / Review Guidelines, but you may not incentivise, filter, write, or otherwise manipulate reviews.

Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour towards customers, guests, staff, or MyBiznest support is grounds for immediate suspension.

9. Suspension and termination

MyBiznest may hide a listing, restrict features, or suspend a business account for breach of this agreement, unresolved complaints, excessive chargebacks, suspected fraud, or legal requirements.

You may stop using MyBiznest at any time. You must still complete or fairly settle bookings and orders already accepted, and honour refunds already due.

10. Indemnity and changes

You agree to indemnify MyBiznest against claims, losses, and costs arising from your services, products, listings, content, staff, tax position, or breach of this agreement.

We may update this agreement. The version number and effective date at the top of this page show the current release, and material changes are notified before they take effect. Earlier acceptance records and transaction snapshots are never rewritten.
