Copyright / IP Policy
How MyBiznest handles copyright, trademarks, and infringement claims about content posted on the platform.
1. Respect other people's rights
Only upload text, photos, video, logos, and other material that you created or that you have permission to use. This applies to listings, profiles, galleries, messages, and reviews.
Using someone else's product photography, portfolio images, marketing copy, brand name, or logo without permission is not allowed, even with credit.
2. Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the content you upload. By posting it you grant MyBiznest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize, display, and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.
The licence ends when you remove the content, except for copies retained in backups, in transaction records, or where we must keep them by law.
3. MyBiznest brand
The MyBiznest name, logo, site design, and software are owned by MyBiznest. You may refer to MyBiznest factually — for example, "Book us on MyBiznest" — but may not copy the branding, imply endorsement or partnership, or use it in your own business or domain name.
4. Reporting infringement
If you believe content on MyBiznest infringes your rights, send a notice to support through the Help Center including:
- Your name, organisation, and contact details.
- Identification of the work or trademark you own, with evidence of ownership or registration.
- The exact location of the infringing content, such as the page URL or listing.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the rights holder.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
5. What happens next
We review valid notices promptly and may remove or disable access to the reported content and notify the account that posted it.
The account may submit a counter-notice explaining why the content is authorised or does not infringe. If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the rights holder pursues legal action.
Knowingly false claims of infringement, in either direction, are a breach of these terms.
6. Repeat infringers and changes
Accounts that repeatedly post infringing content are suspended or permanently removed.
